During the closing ceremony of the TETFund Alliance for Innovative Research (TETFAIR) in Abuja, he emphasized the significance of the Innovation Pitching Event, providing academics and researchers a platform to showcase groundbreaking ideas. He is super confident that the experiences gained will empower scholars to contribute significantly to their fields, fostering engagement at national and international levels.As beneficiaries of the inaugural TETFAIR, he also emphasized the responsibility to be ambassadors of this remarkable project, urging them to uphold integrity, professionalism, and innovation. The Ministry of Labour and Employment remains committed to supporting initiatives fostering innovation, stimulating economic growth, and generating employment opportunities.He also highlighted the need for support to the Michael Imoudu Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS) in Ilorin, Kwara State, requesting cooperation to enhance MINILS’s global competitiveness. The event was deemed critical by Minister of State for Education Dr. Yusuf Sununu, emphasizing the Ministry’s commitment to translating research findings into tangible innovations for economic prosperity.Assurances were given by the Senate Committee Chairman on Tetfund and counterparts from the House of Representatives to make necessary budgetary provisions and carry out robust oversight for the program’s objectives. Following this, the minister also took a tour of the displayed innovation products.
