Abia State has Successful completed a two-day Executive Retreat for the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries in the state.
. The retreat was said to be productive and instructive experience by his Excellency Governor of Abia State, also tasking the permanent secretaries to enhance their competencies, foster effective collaboration, and spearhead the reform of the civil service.
The Governor emphasised the high aspirations of Abia people, and the imperative to establish a smooth work environment between the Commissioners, other government appointees, and their staff in the Ministry. He also encouraged them to conduct a thorough assessment of the people they work with and deploy the most suitable personnel for the appropriate roles.
He also congratulate the new Head of Service and the Permanent Secretaries, and counseled them to be diligent and accountable in their work.
As the state will not condone any underperformance or dishonesty from them. He is counting on them, and also anticipating best outcomes for Abia State.
