Rural transformation drive took off in Zone 1 has now moved fully to Zone 3 and subsequently to Zone 2 in the coming weeks.
On Saturday, December 23, 2023, Governor of Kaduna State Senator Uba Sani,
performed the groundbreaking and flag-off for the following;
- Construction of roads, drainages and culverts across the 8 local governments of the zone, namely Zangon Kataf, Kagarko, Jaba, Sanga, Kaura, Kauru, Kachia and Jema’a.
- Installation of solar powered streetlights across the 8 local governments in Zone 3.
- Distribution of new transformers and repair of vandalized transformers across the 8 local governments in Zone 3.
The groundbreaking for the construction of a feeder road from Takjey to Mayajet, Zangon Kataf LGA and flag-off of solar powered streetlights in Kafanchan, Jema’a LGA served as the ceremonial groundbreaking for the rural transformation projects in the other local governments in Zone 3.
He thanked the good people of Zone 3 for the tremendous support and cooperation they have been giving our administration. We shall continue to work with them as we strive to revitalize the economies of our rural areas.
