Governor of Edo State commissions an iconic edifice for labour unions in the State.

Governor of Edo State Ahead of tomorrow’s Workers’ Day has commissioned an iconic edifice to serve as the secretariat of labour unions in the State.

The building, located at Temboga, Ikpoba Hill, in the state capital, is eponymously named after his predecessor in office and former NLC President, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

It was conceived during his administration, and a contribution is that has made it happen.

The Governor said the relationship between Labour and government should not be solely at the level of policy contestation but should align towards a common goal of improving the welfare and well-being of Edo State worker.

He thanked the workers and labour leaders for the cordial relationship his administration enjoys, which continues to foster peace and industrial harmony in the State.
