Mr. Governor approved and released the sum of ₦360,000,000 (Three Hundred and Sixty Million Naira) for renovation and maintenance of apartments in Amuwo-Odofin, Badagry, Alausa, Ogba, Surulere, Ajah, Ikoyi, and Ikorodu axis in the State.
This administration has equally fostered Public-Private Partnerships/ Joint Venture Developmental Relationships with Corporate Organizations for the construction/redevelopment of Government Properties which will, in no small measure, improve the Revenue Generating Potentialities of the State as well as add to the aesthetics of our Resilient Megacity.
To ensure our Staff Quarters are safe, habitable and well maintained, the Board is constantly engaging in operational synergy with sister MDAs i.e. Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LAPPPA), Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory (LSMTL), Lands Bureau and Office of the Surveyor-General.
To guard against incurred outstanding liabilities bothering on Utility Bills and Loans, the Head of Service unequivocally approved and directed that retiring/exiting Staff would not be issued Clearance Certificates which is a pre-requisite to processing their retirement benefits.
