The Governor of Kano State hosted contractors handling the construction of 5 kilometer roads in the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State to an interactive meeting at the Government House.
In his remark the Governor noted that although it’s pleasant that 3 of such projects have either been completed or reached advanced stages of development, there were still an overwhelming number of projects still stagnating.
The Governor also assured the contractors that it has been able to sort out most technical issues that surround the projects that were abandoned for the previous 8 years, and they all now have a clean slate to enable them complete their job.
The engagement was truly progressive, and he expects to see remarkable progress in the completion of this very important infrastructure across all the local government areas. –
