kidnapped Victims recused unhurt by the Ogun State police Command

A Nigerian and three Indian nationals, safely rescued unharmed and reunited with their families by the the Anti-kidnapping squad of the Ogun State Command.

This Victims were kidnapped at Sagamu-Ijebu-Ode expressway by armed kidnappers who emerged from an unregistered Venza car, firing four shots at the driver’s side tire and another at the rear side of the driver, forcing the vehicle to a stop a Toyota Rav 4 jeep with registration number AGL 16 JE, colored grey.

Through a covert operation, the suspects were located in a bush where they were hiding. Upon noticing the police officers’ flashlight, they engaged in a gun battle with the law enforcement team.

The Anti-kidnapping squad’s superior firepower led to the elimination of two suspects, while the remaining criminals escaped with injuries, leaving behind their weapons.

Recovered items include:

1. 109 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition,

2. 5 AK 47K RIFLES

3. Eight AK 47 magazines

4. Two cell phones.

A rapid response team has been deployed by the state Command to enhance security along the Sagamu-Benin route. As the command also encourages the public to report individuals displaying gunshot wounds .
