Understanding that Climate Actions at the Sub-nationals is critical to ensuring a climate-resilient Nigeria.

To drive this, the NCCC Leadership has had conversations with the SA on Climate Change for Kogi State, Lagos State, and Kaduna State, respectively, on strategies for strengthening climate change actions at the sub-national level.

Also, NCCC provided an extensive review and analysis of the Kano State draft Climate Change policy to ensure alignment with the existing national, regional, and international policies relevant to climate change. To this end, the NCCC Policy Review Team presented their findings at the two-day Stakeholders engagement.
