Governor of Ekiti State meet with the leadership of the Local Government Service Commission, led by its Chairman, Chief Samuel Alaba Abejide. During their discussion, the Governor reaffirmed his administration’s steadfast commitment to providing support for local government administration in Ekiti State.
The Governor said he firmly believe that a well-resourced workforce at the local government level can significantly impact communities and enhance service delivery to the grassroots. Local government workers are not second-class citizens, the Governor said and he has seen their immense potential to drive positive change within their localities.
The Governor also commend the local government workers for their dedication and professionalism, and he said his administration will continue to ensure that they receive the necessary support to thrive and serve the grassroots effectively. The Governor expressed his profound appreciation to the Commission for the productive meeting.
