Following the Director General’s approval for relief Materials to communities affected by windstorm disaster in Jada LGA of Adamawa State, a team comprising NEMA and ADSEMA staff was dispatched for the distribution of relief items to the victims of windstorm in Jada LGA on 25th of September, 2024.
The items include Rice, Maize, vegetable oil, seasoning cubes, and others.
The distribution was witnessed by the Chairman of the LG council and Member State House of Assembly representing Jada State Constituency of Jada Local Government, Both the LG Chairman and the Honourable Member thanked the Federal Government and NEMA for always ensuring quick response describing the relief provided as very necessary and timely.
The distribution exercise was carried out successfully in the presence of witnessed by relevant stakeholders, including beneficiaries, community leaders, security agencies, and the media.
