The Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, officially kicked off his participation at the IMF Annual Meetings in Washington DC with a key discussion with IMF Managing Director, Kristalina Georgieva. Also in attendance was the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Dr. Yemi Cardoso.
The meeting focused on Nigeria’s economic growth prospects, highlighting the critical need to enhance social protection systems, and reviewed the significant progress achieved under President Tinubu’s ambitious reform agenda.
