Ministry of health signs SPA with Siemens Healthineers to strengthen healthcare infrastructure, in cancer treatment

By combining cutting-edge technology with skilled personnel, this partnership embodies Mr. Presidentโ€™s vision under the NHSRII for a healthcare system that meets the highest standards of excellence and addresses the real needs of the Nigerian people.

The Minister commended the leadership of ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐€๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐ฎ ๐”๐ฆ๐š๐ซ-๐’๐š๐๐ข๐ช, Managing Director of NSIA, whose commitment to maximizing the impact of public healthcare investments has been instrumental in advancing this project. The minister said they also recognize the role of Siemens Healthineers, represented by ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐€๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ค ๐Š๐š๐ค๐ค๐š๐ซ, Vice President and Zone Head for the Middle East and Africa, whose partnership has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to Nigeriaโ€™s healthcare progress.

Siemensโ€™ provision of a generous 30% discount on equipment, along with a commitment to extensive training for our healthcare professionals and fixed pricing over the transaction period, reflects their long-term dedication to the success of this initiative.

The Minister said he is grateful for the collaborative contributions from institutions such as the National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment and our federal university teaching hospitals, whose involvement has helped ensure that this project is closely aligned with Nigeriaโ€™s healthcare priorities.
