Ministers receive briefings with a drive to reform Nigeria educational sector

The Ministerof State for Education, alongside Honorable Minister of Education Dr. Tunji Alausa took a significant step towards transforming Nigeria’s education sector in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. They received comprehensive departmental briefings, covering six departments:

– Senior Secondary Education (SSE): Focusing on strategic initiatives to enhance secondary education.
– Colleges of Education (COE): Exploring innovative approaches to teacher training and development .
– University Education (UE): Discussing reforms to promote academic excellence and research .
– Polytechnic Education and Allied Institutions (PE&AI): Examining vocational training and skills development programs.
– Basic Education (BE): Addressing foundational learning and access to quality education.
– Technology and Science Education (TSE): Emphasizing STEM education, digital literacy, and innovative technologies to prepare students for the future.

These briefings provided valuable insights into the current state of the country education sector, informing their efforts to drive meaningful reform and improvement.
