It was a roll call of the who-is-who in Nigeria when family members and friends gathered in Lagos to join in the joyous moment of one of the leaders in our dear State, Chief Ndutimi Alaibe for the wedding of his son, Ebitare and his heartthrob, Anne, at The Monarch Event Centre in Lekki.
It was such a great gathering to reconnect with our mentor and father, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and other leaders including former governors – Retired Navy Captain Caleb Olubolade (Bayelsa), Senator Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa) and Celestine Omehia (Rivers), and former Deputy Governor Gboribiogha John-Jonah (Bayelsa).
In the Governor of Bayelsa delegation to the wedding were two members of the House of Representatives, Hon. Fred Agbedi and Rodney Ambaiowei, State PDP chairman, Solomon Agwana, State House of Assembly member, Mrs. Ebizi Brown, members of the State Executive Council, political leaders, royal father among others.
In the Governor brief counsel delivered in Izon language, the Governor urged Ebitare to love his wife, protect her and look after her wellbeing.
On behalf of the government and people of Bayelsa State, the Governor wish the newly wed marital bliss, a home filled with joy and a life of fulfilled expectations.
Once again, congratulations to the Alaibe family!
