IMASHAYI COMMUNITY LEADERS UNITE AGAINST CRIME

In consonance with the directive of the Commissioner of Police Ogun State Police Command , CP Lanre Ogunlowo PhD that all divisional police officers must at least hold weekly security meeting with critical stakeholders in their Area of Responsibility in other to nip crime in the bud and as well engage stakeholders in crime prevention strategies and exchange of intelligence.

The Divisional Police Officer Imashayi held a security meeting today, January 21, 2025, with key stakeholders to address the rising incidents of shop breaking, stealing, and other crimes in the community.

Attendees included the Community Baale, CDA/CDC Chairman, Youth leader, Market women, commercial motorcyclist leaders, farmers, and other prominent members of the community.

During the meeting, crucial security tips were shared to curb criminal activities. A unanimous agreement was reached to establish a Vigilante group and restrict the movement of commercial motorcyclists at night to prevent potential crimes.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Ogunlowo PhD, has issued a stern warning on his assumption of office that he will not allow criminals to mutate as well resist any act of criminality and brigandage in the State, and also reiterate on his commitment in making Ogun State a safe place for all law abiding citizens.
