The Ogun State Police Command has called on the public to assist in locating a 38-year-old Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer, SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, and her daughter, Sewa Lasisi, who have been declared missing.
The missing persons report was filed at the Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters on Tuesday, November 5, 2025, by another FRSC officer serving in Abeokuta, accompanied by members of the victims’ family.
According to the report, the mother and child left their residence at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Sunday, November 2, 2025, and have not returned home since. Repeated efforts to reach the officer via phone have been unsuccessful.
The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, Ph.D., has ordered an immediate and comprehensive investigation to determine their whereabouts and ensure their safe return.
The Command appeals to anyone with useful information that could aid in finding the missing mother and daughter to contact the nearest police station or call the following emergency numbers: 0800 000 9111, 0915 957 8888, or +234 803 860 9898.
The Ogun State Police Command assures that all information provided will be handled with strict confidentiality.
