Representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the campaign rally, a top government delegate assured party supporters that “Ndi Anambra will never walk alone” if the state aligns with the ruling party at the centre.
The delegation arrived earlier in the day and proceeded to the palace of the Obi of Onitsha, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu Achebe (Agbogidi), to seek royal blessings for the APC governorship candidate and campaign team. The visit underscored the party’s commitment to engaging traditional institutions in its bid to deepen grassroots support.
The campaign rally, which drew thousands of enthusiastic supporters, also had in attendance the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda; Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma; as well as several serving and former senators and other key party stalwarts.
In his remarks, the President’s representative urged the people of Anambra to vote massively for the APC, promising that the state would enjoy full cooperation and development support from the Federal Government if it elects the party’s candidate.
> “Anambra will never walk alone as an APC state. The Federal Government under President Bola Tinubu is committed to the development of the Southeast and will ensure Anambra benefits from the Renewed Hope Agenda,” he stated.
The rally marks a major push by the APC to strengthen its political presence in the Southeast region, with promises of infrastructure renewal, economic growth, and inclusive governance.
